Your Assets & Permissions

Your Content Stays Yours

When you use our Services, you provide us with files, content, settings, and metadata ("Your Assets"). Your Assets are yours. These terms only give us the limited rights needed to provide our Services.

What We Need Permission For

We need your permission to:

• Host and back up Your Assets
• Share them when you ask us to
• Access, store, and scan them for features like previews, editing, searching, and releasing
• Conduct investigations, studies, and functionality testing
• Analyze data to improve our Services

Partner Sharing

If you access our Services through an In The Loop partner, we may share your name, email, subscription plan, and usage information with that partner. You authorize this sharing by using the partner link.

Sharing Your Assets

When you share Your Assets:

• You're responsible for ensuring others understand what they can and can't do with your content
• Sharing doesn't entitle you to payments from other participants

When Content Is Shared With You

Commenting on another user's content doesn't give you ownership, credits, or royalties. You cannot share or reproduce another user's content without their written approval.

For more information about your rights as a contributor, songwriter, or performer, consult your performing rights organization, publisher, or legal counsel.

Your Recordings

A "Recording" means any musical or audiovisual recording you upload to In The Loop and request to make publicly available. This includes:

• Sound recordings with music, lyrics, and performances
• Any incorporated Samples under the Samples License
• Audiovisual recordings with scripts, direction, music, and visual performances

Copyright & Intellectual Property

Your Responsibilities

We respect intellectual property and expect you to do the same. You cannot upload, share, or release any content for which you don't own the necessary rights—unless you have express written consent from all rights holders.

Consequences of Violations

If you violate these rules:

• You assume all risks and liabilities
• We may delete violating content
• You must indemnify us against any claims, costs, and damages
• We may suspend or terminate your account

Copyright Infringement Notices

We respond to valid copyright infringement notices. We reserve the right to delete alleged infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
